Captious
At last! I’m done editing the two volumes of the IAS Research Journal. I arrived late in the school. Upon entering the office, amidst the preparation for the accreditation, a freshman approached me. She was sobbing in tears. I calmed her down and I started to ask about her plea. She told me about her being captious. And she was remorseful of her sins. I decided to forgive her. She deserves her chance.
In editing articles, it is easy to trim down the stubborn and inappropriate words to make and unmake a better sentence. It is easy to use one fine word with the other to make a good complement. Hence, the editor is captious himself.
In a relationship, instead of being captious, why not be tolerant? Instead of holding up our emotions too long, why not end it and make amend? The woman who has the finest character, can she still give her trust for another chance?
